NEW MOON MEDITATIONS

find your inner peace and support local sea turtle research

All levels welcome, this is not a movement class.

The new moon symbolizes growth, transformation, and new beginnings, and every month it offers us an opportunity to set intentions for the coming days, while leaving behind what no longer serves us. Join us for our monthly guided meditation under the new moon – as the sun sets, together we will create space to move forward with the projects and aspirations that make us feel alive.

Because it is important to us to care for our island home and the creatures we share it with, we donate all proceeds from our new moon meditations to support the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation's Sea Turtle Research Program. This year, we have a very generous matching donor who has promised to double our impact. That means every dollar you donate will do twice as much good for the turtles.

Suggested donation $10-15. Cash donations only, please (if you would like to make a larger contribution, checks may be written directly to SCCF). Please bring a towel or blanket to sit on. Public parking is available. Meet at Alison Hagerup Beach Park, 14790 Captiva Dr., Captiva, FL. This beach is labeled "South Beach" or Location #30 on South Seas resort maps. In case of inclement weather, the meditation will be held in our studio.

If you are unable to attend our New Moon Meditations but still want to support SCCF's Sea Turtle Research Program, we gladly accept donations, and they will all be matched!

Registration is not required, but we always appreciate it if you let us know you are coming via text, email, or through our Facebook event page.
